Responsibilities:

Menu Planning: Collaborate with the restaurant management to plan and develop a menu that includes a variety of chinese dishes, considering regional specialties and customer preferences.

Food Preparation: Skillfully prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes using traditional techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, and roasting. Ensure the use of fresh and high-quality ingredients.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of ingredients, spices, and other kitchen supplies. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure the availability of necessary items for daily operations.

Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Regularly inspect and taste dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards and customer expectations.

Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.

Cost Management: Work with the management to control food costs, minimize wastage, and optimize kitchen efficiency. Suggest ways to improve profitability without compromising on quality.
