JOB TITLE: Procurement Specialist

DIVISION: GAP(Gas and Process)

REPORTING TO: Sourcing Manager


[MISSION]

Purchasing works of commodities based on Atlas Copco GAP Sourcing process. (KRN sourcing procedure and Prokura in systematic-SAP). Works for not only individual negotiated contract with suppliers within target costs but also checking and expediting for purchased items even urgent and emergency cases during assembly, commissioning, etc. For this you collaborate with the Engineering, Project Management, Production as well as Quality teams. Indirect purchasing will also be handled within your responsibility.


[MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES]


  • Comply with the entire operational procurement process in KRN, including the data maintenance in SAP for ensuring the supply of material in line with requirements for the procurement items that have been taken over
  • Comply with the way we do things and Business Code of Practice.
  • To achieve KPI of KRN Sourcing department as cost saving and OTD.
  • Proceed RFQ process, negotiation of prices and contractual terms, issuing related purchase orders.
  • Place an order for standard or frame agreed items domestics as well as overseas.
  • Monitor supplier performance (quality and delivery) and take corrective actions as required.
  • Expediting of due time delivery.
  • Support of the other departments/functions (engineering, production, quality, aftermarket) regarding supplier related issues.
  • Support with relevant teams for emergency cases as purchase items in timely manner.
  • Consider the inventory and stocks through team efforts with production and warehouse management.

[JOB REQUIREMENTS]


  • Associate degree majored in related commercial with technical background.
  • Travel < 20% domestic, < 5% international
  • More than 3 years’ experience in the field of purchasing or procurement related to mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions, as well as framework contracts
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in Korean language, Good English in both spoken and written,
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and ERP system. (SAP experience preferred)
  • Self-driven and pro-active.
  • Good communication and teamwork skill with among relevant teams.
