He or she will work and contribute to HR system (Workday) implementation targeted to launch in Taiwan during Q4 2023 on Time & Attendance, Overtime Request & Approval, Deputy Information during leave of absence, Regulatory & Company leave, and with related analytics and reports for inspection by regulators biannually. The Workday implementation requires this incumbent to arrange extensive data migration from local system to Workday, provide employees / users training & user guides, follow-up enquiries and system teething issues post implementation. In addition, this incumbent will also work on converting physical p-files in Taiwan (80+ employees) to online p-files so as to facilitate effective HR record management in the updated workplace model & achieving environmental initiative going for “paperless”.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Execute and ensure smooth HR support for regulatory reportings and compliances in mandatory / licensing training and development, mandatory daily time & attendance, overtime, deputy information during leave of absence, licensing personnel credentials & documentations
- Support & provide necessary documentations & reports for regulator inspection at least biannually, regulator topical surveys at least a few times a year, HR information quarterly update for fund prospectus.
- Keep abreast of employment and business related regulation development to provide relevant support to the GC HR team and business; update HR policies, manuals, procedures.
- Support implementation of Workday for Taiwan on Time & Attendance, Overtime Request & Approval, Deputy Information during leave of absence, Regulatory & Company leave; data migration from local system to Workday; provide employees / users trainings & user guides, follow-up enquiries and system teething issues
- Drive and support the conversion of physical p-files in Taiwan (80+ employees) to online p-files so as to facilitate effective HR record management in the updated workplace model & achieving environmental initiative going for “paperless”.
- Processes and approves HR system transactions originating primarily in Workday and ServiceNow, including employee changes, new hires, and terminations
- Coordinates with other HR team members to provide overall client support and service to assigned groups in the form of resolution of administrative or routine payroll, compensation, or benefit-related questions and issues
- Support HR projects (country / regional / global) as and when required
Work Experience/Knowledge:
- Experience in a spectrum of Human Resources functions, relevant HR experience in the financial industry an advantage
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience using Workday
- Prior experience working in global or regional matrix organization is helpful
- Knowledge of labour ordinances and regulatory requirements
- Independent and able to work under a remote management environment
