WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
For Greetz in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for key aspects of Greetz’s financial statements and you will be relied on by senior stakeholders (both within Finance and across the business) to help understand the company’s performances. Additionally, you will have month-end responsibilities, as well as helping to coordinate the interim and year end audits. The ideal candidate to join Greetz’s high performing Financial Control team has a mix of financial and management accounting experience, but even more certainly strong analytical and communication skills.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership of key parts of the P&L and balance sheet (from posting journal entries to performing analysis)
- Responsible for insightful management reporting and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS
- Partnering with FP&A and the wider business to understand performance and assist with budgets
- Ensuring a robust financial control environment, from our month-end through to coordinating our external audits
- Proactively reviewing, challenging and undertaking continuous improvement across our team’s processes
- Developing strong relationships with main stakeholders, understanding business performance drivers, and actively participating in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Being the stand in for the Finance Manager – provide support and being able to step-up when required
YOUR PROFILE
- You are a strong team player!
- You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or are a qualified accountant, RC or equivalent, with solid technical accounting knowledge
- You have around 3 years of experience in a similar role
- You have a can-do attitude and problem solving mindset
- You are open to learning and adopting best practices, staying updated with industry trends, and applying with new insights to enhance the team’s performances and effectiveness
- You show strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus
- You are comfortable managing senior stakeholders, including those outside Finance
- You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- You show great attention to detail
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within technology, e-commerce or retail industries is a plus
YOUR OFFER
- A good salary of €65.000 - €75.000,- based on earlier derived knowledge and experience
- An annual bonus of 10%
