Reliability Specialist

Work Location: Christmas Creek

  • Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.

Roster:

8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth or Busselton

Key responsibilities include:

  • Shutdown/Maintenance Support
  • Fixed Plant Inspections/Improvements
  • Reliability - Strategy Development & Support
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Assisting in maintaining and increasing reliability of OPF equipment and assets
  • Rectification of Defects and Plant Improvements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Trade Based Qualification (Mechanical) or Mechanical Engineer with significant Heavy Industry Experience, preferably in Fixed Plant Ore Processing
  • Extensive knowledge of fixed plant equipment and operation of equipment
  • Extensive knowledge of maintenance tasks and procedures
  • Previous experience within Reliability teams
  • Ability to interpret and understand any SWI’s, OEM Procedures and relevant maintenance documentation
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and Environment is essential.
