Transformation execution Manager – Banking sector (f/m)
The opportunity
Drawing on its reputation for providing deep industry experience and leading consulting services to the banking industry, EY is further expanding its Banking Transformation Execution practice. We’re looking for a Manager, with proven Change and Transformation experience and a strong knowledge of the Banking and Private Banking Industry to join us on our growth journey and help us build a better working world for our clients, colleagues, and society at large.
Your key responsibilities
As a member of our Banking Transformation Execution team, you’ll be working with some of the most recognizable names within the Industry, helping them to deliver projects focused on addressing their most significant challenges. We’re assisting Banks to operate better, faster, cheaper, safer, and more sustainably. We do this by designing and improving processes, operating models, business architecture, customer experience, digital and technology enablers.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with key stakeholders from the Industry to understand the challenges that their businesses are facing and helping them to tailor a solution to address these.
- Support the design and delivery of complex operational improvement and business transformation projects on engagements for key Banking and Private Banking clients – covering areas such as process improvement, journey design, operating model, digital and technology transformations.
- Conduct regular meetings and events with stakeholders and deliver impactful presentations to keep them abreast of Industry evolutions and market trends.
- Recruiting, leading, training, coaching, and supervising a team of highly skilled profiles, monitoring their engagements, and supporting their development and growth in a safe, diverse and dynamic working environment.
- Drive business development, proposals and bids for new clients. Interact with our global network of Banking and Private Banking practitioners and contribute to the animation of our local community, and collaboration with our Banking and Private Banking assurance and tax practices.
Skills and attributes for success
We’re looking for people who can demonstrate experience designing and delivering change and transformation projects within the Banking and Private Banking marketplace. You’re likely to have a strong track record in transformation delivery, with an ability to develop and deliver high-quality output against project objectives and meet tight deadlines. Aligned with these technical skills you’ll have the natural curiosity to understand current processes, matched with a desire to initiate and effect strategic change across front, middle and back office. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and the ability to present ideas and findings clearly and concisely to a wide range of stakeholders. You have appetite for contributing to the development and growth of this market, your team and its full ecosystem of stakeholders.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- You have at least 6 years of experience in a consulting role or transformation role in the Banking and / or Private Banking sector.
- You have a demonstrated track record of delivering improvements linked to business and technology performance, gained in Industry and Consulting in the Banking and Private Banking sector.
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills in both French and English.
- Strong team spirit, balanced by a healthy sense of autonomy.
